Recognised as one of the most formidable professional multi-disciplinary athletes around, multi-world record-holding Paddy Doyle has been making and breaking inflatable kayak records in the UK using his Hydro-Force Ventura Kayak.

To date, Paddy has completed well over 700 endurance challenges, broken over 350 world records and is labeled as “The World’s Fittest Man” and in 2009 the Guinness Book of World Records recognised him as "The World Fitness Endurance Champion". His achievements include 1,500,230 press-ups in one year, 716 step-ups in an hour, longest time in an abdominal plank position with a 100-lb pack, most push-ups in 12 hours (19,325), most squats in one minute carrying a 60 lb pack (44), most star jumps in one minute carrying a 100 lb pack (33) and Most consecutive martial arts bouts (141).

Endurance Challenges With a Hydro‑Force™ Kayak

Last year, Paddy took his Hydro‑Force™ Ventura Kayak on a variety of grueling endurance challenges that included:

4 outdoor dual kayak and cross-country endurance challenges:

  • 2.5km kayak & 2km cross-country speed march in 34 minutes and 58 seconds
  • 3km kayak & 3km cross-country speed march in 52 minutes and 12 seconds
  • 4km kayak & 3.5km cross-country speed march in 1 hour, 7 minutes and 35 seconds
  • 4.5 km kayak & 4km cross-country speed march in 1 hour, 19 minutes and 22 seconds

3 outdoor cross-country short-course triathlons:

  • 1.5km kayak, 4km mountain biking & 3km cross-country walk in 1 hour, 8 mins and 53 seconds
  • 2km kayak, 5km mountain biking & 4km cross-country walk in 1 hour, 36 mins and 17 seconds
  • 3km kayak, 6km mountain biking & 5km cross-country walk in 1 hour, 40 mins and 00 seconds

*when not on the water, his challenges included carrying a full 20lb load (including the kayak).
